ABOUT PINE HOUSE POTTERY

I’m Jenn Hershberger, creator of Pine House Pottery. My love for pottery began in high school, leading me to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Biola University. Today, I am a resident potter and studio tech at Oak Grove Pottery in Howell, Michigan, where I craft functional, handmade pieces that reflect the beauty of Michigan’s landscapes and the deep inspiration I draw from my Christian faith.

The natural textures, muted colors, and calming patterns found in Michigan’s lakes, woodlands, and trails continue to inspire my work. I believe the beauty and order of creation reflect the Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and the interconnectedness of all things in nature shares God's purposeful design. Each piece I make is thoughtfully created to invite you into contemplation of both nature and grace. Whether you're sipping from a coffee mug, or serving from a salad bowl, I hope my pottery helps bring beauty to the simple, meaningful experiences of your daily life.
